DNR Presentation: Do's / Don'ts During Low Water Level

Don't miss this!  At the May 8 meeting, Langlade County Waterways Association (LCWA) was joined by Scott Koehnke, DNR Water Regulation/Zoning Specialist, who presented the “Do’s and Don’ts During Low Water Levels” and Scott Van Egeren, DNR Water Resources Management Specialist, who presented an “Overview of the Water Level Cycle and How it Affects Lake Ecology.”  This informative video is accessible on the LCWA facebook page or, for those of you who don't "facebook", please click on the link below and then tap the screen to start the video.  It's a 1-hr presentation, but well worth your while, especially if you are a riparian owner.  QUIZ:  So how far out CAN you extend your dock in low water levels?  In high water levels?  (The answer is in the video.)  For those of you without time to view it, a recap will be presented at the Mary Lake P&R District Annual Meeting on June 22, 2024.
