Dear OCLAWA Members,  

 

Our Fall Member meeting is coming up on Saturday 22 August, 9:00-11:00 at Riverview Town Hall.  We'll be awarding Raffle prizes!! 

 

We have on the agenda a proposal for an OCLAWA county-wide lake intern program, which we would like your input on.  Are the themes aligned with your needs?  What other ideas do you have?  Are you even interested in such a program? Please take a look at the attached proposal and bring your ideas!  

 

Also, as usual, we'll be hosting the ever-popular member roundtables where you can share what your lake is working on and ask questions too.  We have developed a new lake reporting template to help with these discussions.  Please take some time to look at the template and fill in the line for your association or P&R district.  You'll note some of the fields are already completed using data from WI DNR-- so you can see that about half of the lakes in Oconto County with a public landing have reported Eurasian Watermilfoil (EWM) and 20% have reported zebra mussels.
