At this year's annual meeting, attendees decided that rather than hiring paid internal staff (which results in more Workers' Comp as well as salary), it might be better if we'd all share the burden of lawn care for the properties we own and use.  Some parties have already volunteered for occasional mowing, but this is a call out to everyone: if you see that the launch area needs cutting, please go ahead and cut it.  Same with the beach property.  Trimming is already to be done by a volunteer at the beach.  Unfortunately the Lake District can't compensate you for gas or use of your mower, but your generosity of time and service will be greatly appreciated by all your neighbors.
